The WAA Impressionist Challenge attracted 65 entries from members and affiliates. There were at least 80 people present to enjoy an exhibition the first Impressionists would surely have loved. Artists submitted works in either of two styles - French Impressionism (after Monet, Sisly, Pissaro), or Australian Impressionism (after Roberts, McCubbin, Streeton), and all were successful in capturing the dazzle of light and atmosphere in their paintings.Autumn in Park Orchards, by Carole Grimm. $100 of art materials from www.theartshopcom.au. Second Prize:
Garden in Arles, by Jenny Dodds. Third Prize: Sunny
Coast, by Barbara Colwell. Fourth Prize: A
